UMW Toyota Motor solidified its dominant position in the market in June, achieving impressive sales figures of 8,559 units for Toyota and 110 units for Lexus. The combined total sales for June 2023, including both Toyota and Lexus, reached 8,669 units, surpassing the 8,004 units recorded in May 2023.
Year-to-date sales for June 2023 demonstrated exceptional growth, with a cumulative total of 48,659 units sold. This figure represents a significant 6.0% increase compared to the year- to-date sales of 45,911 units recorded in June 2022.
Another major highlight for the month of June was the unveiling of the highly anticipated all- new Toyota Innova Zenix, featuring both Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) and Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) models. This launch marked a significant milestone in the company's unwavering commitment to carbon-neutrality and sustainability. At the forefront of the launch, the all-new Zenix HEV emerged as the hero model, embodying Toyota's dedication to a greener future.

The new Alphard 2.4T Executive Lounge features the all-new 2.4L 16-valve DOHC with Turbocharger and intercooler paired with a Direct Shift 8-speed Automatic with Sequential and Paddle Shifters, which deliver stronger torque and powerful acceleration for more engaging and exhilarating driving experience.

The new Alphard and Vellfire features a sleek design, fitted with distinctive grille and Full LED Lamps with Sequential Signal Lamps in both the front and rear of the vehicle for optimal visibility and presence on the road.
Exuding a premium touch, the cabin of the Alphard and Vellfire is now even more luxurious which is expressed using leather and woodgrain, with a fixed Panoramic Glass Roof that bathes the cabin in natural lighting. The shell interior gives an airy and spacious ambience which feels like being in a luxurious hotel or in a private jet. A 64-Colour illumination along the side of the ceiling also adds to the classy environment inside the Alphard and Vellfire. The model also comes equipped with adjustable reading lights to ensure maximum visibility without compromising comfort.
The driver’s area is like that of a private jet cockpit with all mechanical switches and control buttons positioned optimally for easy reach. Likewise, the instrument panel has a high-quality design with the 12.3" Full Color TFT digital combination meter paired with the new head-up display that are now sharper and clearer in all lighting conditions.
For the most luxurious and comfortable seating, both front and rear first row seats are equipped with Seat Heater and Ventilation. In addition, the Alphard 2.4T Executive Lounge’s rear first row seats features an exclusive seat massage function. The month of June also marked the announcement of the 6th Season of the GR GT Cup Malaysia commencing on 15 July 2023, a premier online racing series in the country organized by UMW Toyota Motor.
